He was member of BMO Capital Markets Executive Committee and the Bank of Montreal’s Performance Committee.

Since joining BMO in 2002, Abid progressed through various roles, including Head of Cross Asset Trading in 2012, where he ran the bank’s structured and exotic trading businesses. His extensive experience in derivative trading and risk management has been instrumental in growing the Bank’s Structured Products Trading capabilities, making BMO the leading player in Structured Products in Canada and winning numerous trade awards recognized by his peers and the industry.
